Remote Computer
Setup Guide

Follow these steps to get your new PC on and connected.
Codex IT will handle all final configuration remotely.

Hardware Setup

Unpack and unbox your device(s)

Connect all cables and peripherals as applicable

Power on the computer and displays

Windows Initial Setup

Select your Country or Region

Select your Keyboard Layout

Connect to your network — Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Accept the License Agreement

Name your device

💡 Use: REF-NEWPC — the PC may reboot after this step

Account Setup

Select "Set up for work or school"

⚠ Do not select a personal Microsoft account

Enter your ReFocus email credentials and wait for the PC to finish loading

Call Codex IT Support Now

Once your laptop is on, you must call Codex IT. They will complete all remote configuration — this step is not optional.
